Hamilton "Clark" men's Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in 14K yellow gold fill, circa 1938.
The "Clark" has a long, curved case with a subtle streamlined step along the edges of the bezel. It was priced at $52.50 in 1938. This example is in crisp, excellent condition with no brassing. Curved caseback is superb and unengraved. This is one of the finest examples of a "Clark" that I have ever offered. Case measures 43mm long and 21mm wide. Original inlaid enamel dial is superb, has solid 18K gold applied numerals. Glass crystal is superb. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Hamilton grade 980 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong. Has vintage Hamilton crocodile strap with gold-filled Hamilton buckle.
