Elgin "Model 161" men's Machine Age design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill, circa 1930.
The "Model 161" has a beveled case with large lugs that drop down below the case to conform to the wrist. It was priced $47.50 in 1930. It is excellent condition with only a few specks of brassing to the bezel corners and lugs. The caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 40mm long and 22mm wide. Refinished black dial is excellent, has gold embossed numerals. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 15-jewel Elgin grade 484 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong
