Hamilton Cushion Sterling Silver 2
Rare Hamilton “Cushion” men’s Modern design wristwatch in sterling silver with original box, circa 1926.
The sterling silver “Cushion” is quite scarce, with just 2,588 produced with the 986A movement from 1923 to 1929. This box is very rare, and apparently was used by Hamilton for only a short time at the end of the 986A models and the beginning of the 987 models. This example is in excellent condition showing only light wear and a few light marks. Caseback is excellent and unnegraved. Case measures 35mm long and 27mm wide. Original dial with unusual black printed numerals is very good, with slight patina. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Hamilton grade 986A manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
