Hamilton Hastings 14K yellow

Rare Hamilton “Hastings” men’s Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in solid 14K yellow gold, circa 1928.

The “Hastings” has a simple square case with rounded corners, giving it a very streamlined look. It was priced to consumers at $85.00 in 1928. Usually found in gold fill, solid gold examples of the “Hastings” are rare, with only 1,240 watches produced; this is the first I have offered in several years. It is in excellent condition showing only very light wear. The caseback is excellent and unengraved. Case measures 34mm long and 28mm wide. Original dial is very good. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17- jewel grade 987 Hamilton manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.

Price $800.
