Elgin Clubman 805
Scarce Elgin "Clubman 805" men's Art Deco design wristwatch in 14 white gold fill, circa 1930.
The "Clubman 805" is a smaller-size men's watch with an 18/0-size movement. It has incuse panels on the bezel and was priced at $50.00 in 1930. It is a scarce model and this is the first I have offered in many years. It is in crisp, excellent condition with only a tiny speck or two of brassing. The incuse panels on the bezel still show their frosted finish. The caseback is superb, with a monogram. Case measures 34mm long and 23mm wide. Original dial is very good. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Elgin grade 483 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
