Very rare Gruen “Orne” ladies’ Art Deco design wristwatch in solid 14K white gold with blue, green, yellow, and black enamel, circa 1929.

Gruen's "Orne" series of ladies' enamel watches were the epitome of Art Deco design. All are rare and desirable. This model has highly stylized floral designs inlaid with four colors of enamel... blue, green, and yellow set in black enamel. It is very rare and this is the only one I've ever seen. It is in excellent condition showing only light wear. Enamel is perfect and complete. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. Case measures 28mm long and 16mm wide. Original inlaid enamel dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 15-jewel Gruen Guild grade 833 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
