Hamilton Touraine
Rare Hamilton “Touraine” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in solid 14K yellow gold, circa 1940.
The “Touraine” was cataloged in one year only... 1940... and is quite rare. This is one of only four examples I have offered in 20 years. Priced at $90.00 in 1940, the “Touraine” has a simple square case with a faceted bezel and lugs. This example is in excellent condition showing only very light wear. Caseback is excellent, with a monogram. The case measures 35mm long and 23mm wide. Refinished three-tone dial is superb, has 18K gold applied dot markers. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 19-jewel Hamilton grade 982M manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
