Scarce Bulova "Accutron Model 514" men's Space Age design wristwatch in solid 14K yellow gold, circa 1964.

The "Model 514" was one of the initial case designs used when Bulova released the Accutron tuning fork watches to the public in 1960. It has a fantastic asymmetric 1950s TV-shaped case with a florentine finish on the bezel and was originally priced at $300.00. This example is in excellent condition showing only light wear. Caseback is excellent, with a faint monogram. Has "MO" date code for 1960 and a factory counter-stamped date code of "M4" for 1964. Case measures 41mm long and 32mm wide. Refinished dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 214 Accutron movement, just serviced and phased to run accurately with a modern 1.55 volt battery. Battery cover is a replacement.

Price $1,000. SOLD
