Scarce Elgin “Model 1602” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in solid 14K white gold, circa 1929.
The "Model 1602" has a bezel with Art Deco geometric designs and a dial with unique gold embossed exploding numerals set against a subtle pebble-textured gold background. It is in excellent condition showing only very slight wear. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. Case measures 34mm long and 27mm wide. Original textured finish dial is very good, with some light patina. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 15-jewel Elgin grade 428 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
