Gruen "Tank" men's Modern design wristwatch in 14K green gold fill, circa 1923.
This smaller-sized men's watch was introduced by Gruen around 1923 and is the earliest version of its "Tank" design. It was priced at $55.00 in 1923. This example is in excellent condition showing no brassing. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 32mm long and 24mm wide. Has new glass crystal. Older refinished dial is very good. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Gruen Precision grade 98 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
