Rare Bulova "Lido" ladies Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill with polychrome enamel, circa 1929.

The "Lido" has High Art Deco design geometric patterns inlaid with red, green, and black enamel, inspired by Southwestern Native American designs, particularly those found in Hopi and Zuni art. It was priced at $37.50 in 1929 and is quite rare... this is only the third example I have ever offered. It is in excellent condition showing only very light wear. The case shows almost all of its original matte finish. Enamel is excellent, with some minor loss to the green and red enamel on upper lugs. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 34mm long and 17mm wide. Original inlaid enamel dial is superb. Glass crystal is excellent with only a few minor marks. The watch is powered by its correct 15-jewel Bulova grade 6AF manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.

Price $1,200.
