Elgin Home Run 474
Scarce Elgin “Home Run 474” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K green gold fill, circa 1931.
The “Home Run 474” has cushion-shaped case with Art Deco geometric designs on the bezel and case sides. This example is in excellent condition showing only a few tiny specks of brassing to the bezel corners, and a little brassing to the edges of the lugs. Caseback is excellent and unengraved, with a few specks of wear. The case measures 35mm long and 29mm wide. Original factory new-old-stock dial is superb, has gold embossed numerals. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct Elgin 17-jewel grade 487 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
