Gruen Star Supreme
Gruen "Star Supreme" men's Retro Modern design wristwatch in 10K white gold fill, circa 1951.
The "Star Supreme" was part of Gruen's "21" series of watches. It has a faceted bezel with angled lugs. This example is in crisp, excellent condition with only a few tiny specks of brassing to the tips of the lugs. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. Case measures 39mm long and 27mm wide. Original black finish star-pattern dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 21-jewel Gruen grade 335 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
