Hamilton Diamond Dial Ventura

Very rare Hamilton “Diamond Dial Ventura ” men’s Space Age design electric wristwatch in solid 14K white gold with factory diamond dial, circa 1961.

The "Diamond Dial Ventura" first appeared in 1960 with the 500A movement, and then was switched over to the 505 movement in 1961. It was priced at an incredible $300.00 in 1961. The "Diamond Dial Ventura" is very rare, especially in white gold, and this is the only example I have ever offered. It is in crisp, excellent condition showing only very slight wear and a few faint marks. The stepped edges of the fins are sharp. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The ”Ventura” is a very large watch, measuring 50mm long and 32mm wide. Factory diamond dial has been superbly refinished with the correct brushed silver soleil (sunburst) pattern. Has new acrylic crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 11-jewel Hamilton grade 505 electric movement, serviced last year and running strong with a new battery just installed.
