Lord Elgin Model 4802 b

Scarce Lord Elgin Model 4802 men's Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in 14K yellow gold fill, circa 1947.

This version of the "Model 4802" has the very scarce pastel green hour field on a silver dial, a striking color combination that Elgin used on only a very few wristwatch models. This is one of a handful of examples of the "Model 4802" I have seen with this dial. It is in excellent condition with only a little brassing to the edges of the lugs. Caseback is excellent and unengraved, with a few dings. The case measures 34mm long and 26mm wide. Factory original new old stock dial is perfect. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 21-jewel Elgin grade 556 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.

Price $350. SOLD
