Hamilton “Carson” men’s Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in 14K yellow gold fill, circa 1937.

The “Carson” was among the first group of Hamilton watches with the new 14/0-size grade 980 movement and was advertised as curved to fit the wrist. It was priced to consumers at $50.00 in 1937. This example is in excellent condition with only a few tiny specks of brassing to the bezel and lugs. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 38mm long and 23mm wide. Original inlaid enamel dial is excellent, has solid 18K gold applied numerals. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Hamilton grade 980 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
