Elgin Offset Trench
Elgin "Offset Trench" men's Military design wristwatch in silverode, circa 1918.
This 3/0-size Elgin trench watch has a silverode case (nickel alloy) and a scarce glass enamel dial with shadowed numerals. It is in excellent condition with the unpolished case showing only light wear. Caseback is excellent and unengraved, with some slight discoloration. The case measures 37mm long 32mm wide. Has new correct thick beveled glass crystal. Original glass enamel dial is superb with no cracks. The watch is powered by a 7-jewel Elgin grade 418 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong. Has extra long vintage pigskin strap.
