Rare Wittnauer "Rectangular Enamel" men's Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K green gold fill, circa 1929.

Wittnauer's primary focus during the 1920s was importing Longines watches into the United States, and Wittnauer-branded watches from this period are rare. This is the only example I have ever seen of this large, Art Deco model. It is in excellent condition with only a light touch of brassing to the bezel corners. All the black enamel inlay is complete. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 38mm long and 22mm wide. Refinished enamel inlaid dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Wittnauer manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
