Elgin Ridgewood
Scarce Elgin "Ridgewood" men's Mid-Century Modern design wristwatch in 14K yellow gold fill, circa 1956.
The "Ridgewood" has a two-tone black and white dial and a rectangular case with black inlay in each corner. It is in excellent condition with only a few tiny specks of brassing to the lugs. Caseback is excellent, with a presentation engraving and some brassing underneath the lugs. The case measures 34mm long and 26mm wide. Original two-tone black and white dial is excellent. Has new domed glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 19-jewel Elgin grade 671 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
