Gruen Veri-Thin Medallion
Gruen "Veri-Thin Medallion" men's Retro Modern design wristwatch in 10K pink gold fill, circa 1941.
The "Veri-Thin Medallion" has a cushion-shaped case with fanciful ribbon lugs. It was priced at $49.75 in 1941. It is very difficult to find this model without heavy wear to the lugs. This example is in crisp, excellent condition with no brassing. Caseback is excellent, with a monogram. The case measures 36mm long and 26mm wide. Original two-tone pink dial is excellent. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Gruen grade 405 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
