Hamilton “Uncatalogued” men’s Modern design wristwatch in solid 14K yellow gold, circa 1969.

This model is not pictured in any of Hamilton's sales catalogues, but is a properly-marked, factory-cased model. This is the only example of this model I have ever seen. The style of the signature on the caseback indicates this watch likely dates to around 1969 or 1970, just as Hamilton was winding down production of movements in its original Lancaster factory. It is in near mint condition showing virtually no wear. The top of the bezel and lugs have a subtle textured finish. Caseback is superb and unengraved, with all of its factory-applied brushed finish. Case measures 33mm long and 25mm wide. Original acrylic crystal is excellent. Original silver soleil sunburst finish dial is excellent, with applied gold markers. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Hamilton grade 731 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
