Very scarce Elgin “Model E-7B” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill, circa 1930.

This variety of the “Model E-7” has a cushion-shaped dial and bezel rather than the round dial and bezel usually seen with this model. This is one of only a few I’ve had of this cushion-dialed version; it is quite scarce. Elgin likely assigned a different model number based on the different dial and bezel, but Elgin researchers have yet to determine its true name from any currently known Elgin documentation. This example is in excellent condition with no brassing. Caseback is excellent, with a monogram. Case measures 33mm long and 30mm wide. Original dial is excellent. Glass crystal is excellent. Watch is powered by its correct 7-jewel Elgin grade 430 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
