Scarce Hamilton "Berkshire" men's Retro Modern design wristwatch in solid 14K yellow gold, circa 1953.

The "Berkshire" has a faceted case with faceted and flared lugs. It was priced at $135.00 in 1953. It is in excellent condition showing only light wear. All case edges and facets are distinct. Caseback is excellent and unengraved, with some light scratches. Case measures 41mm long and 24mm wide. Original dial is very good, with some patina and light marks. Has solid 18K gold applied markers. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 19-jewel Hamilton grade 754 manual wind movement, serviced a few years and still running strong. I will service the movement prior to shipping.
