Scarce Hamilton “Whitney” men’s Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill, circa 1933.
The “Whitney” has a very striking flared and stepped case... its dramatic design and low production make it among the most desirable of the early 1930s Hamilton models. It is a scarce model, with only 4,136 produced in white. It was priced to consumers at $50.00 in 1933. This example is in excellent condition with just a little brassing to the bezel corners and lug tips. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 36mm long and 30mm wide. Older refinished dial is very good. Glass crystal is excellent. This watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Hamilton grade 987-F manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
Price $625.
