Elgin Rectangular Sterling
Very scarce Elgin "Rectangular" men's Art Deco design wristwatch in sterling silver, circa 1927.
This watch has a simple rectangular, cut-corner case with a fantastic green gilt finish dial and Art Deco style luminous numerals. This model is very scarce in sterling silver. It is in excellent condition with only light overall wear. Hinged caseback is excellent, with a monogram. The case measures 40mm long and 28mm wide. Original green gilt finish dial is excellent, has new blue luminous. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by a 15-jewel Elgin grade 428 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
