Longines Tycoon 14K
Scarce Longines "Tycoon" men's Mid-Century Modern design wristwatch in solid 14K white gold, circa 1958.
The "Tycoon" has a faceted case and a two-tone brushed silver dial with 13 diamonds set in white gold markers. It was priced at $250.00 in 1958. It is a scarce model and this is the first I have ever offered. This example is in excellent condition showing only very light wear. Caseback is superb and unengraved, with all of its factory-applied brushed finish. The case measures 37mm long and 24mm wide. Original two-tone dial is excellent. Original domed glass crystal is superb. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Longines caliber 9LT manual wind movement, not serviced but running strong. I will service the movement prior to shipping.
